Fashion Week

Being September.. in Fashion.. will be the most important month of the Year. . The Fashion Week
and I don't why am I so darned excited abt it.. although im not in the fashion line..

Tmr will be catching "The September Issue" with minw.. its a documentary on the legendary Chief Editor of Vogue magazine.. Minw bound to love it.. hehe~

just finish watch the runway of Topman London Fashion Week : The MAN Afterparty .

Wonder how cool is it if im able to go over to Paris itself to witness it.. Total Awesome!!!!

portfolio in progress

Currently.. in the means of working out my porfolio for my graduation..

as usual last min work.. which i hate.. yet cant do anything abt it.. time is always not on my side.. I have chose up to 7 pieces of works.. left 3 more. to make 10.

3 items to deliver : Printed portfolio, PDF ver. and a website..

have so many ideas for website.. but time is always the factor... guess i'll have to work it out slowly.. deliver a template first..

Desigrammer is a term i saw in kenny site .... hmm prolly a good path for me to go.. since im one foot in programming and one foot in design... whaha

Mon and Tue was a the Actionscript Convention 2009.. it was awesome... look at those cool application and solution done by the gurus... was just being blown off my mind..

do i know i what i really want?

in life, in study, in work?

recently .. work doesnt interest me that much anymore.. doing these stuff that keep going over and over again... keep repeating itself.. bored...

but come to think of it.. did learnt alot from this job..

• able to talk with clients
  
• know what they want.. (although 99.9% they keep changing their minds)
  
• able to work within super tight timelines.
  
• able to endure sleepless nights.

the truth is.. im quite enjoying with doing account servicing of some sort.. get a sense of satisfactory even from just a simple "thank you" from the client .. at least u know that they are happy with the work.. and appreciate the work that u do..

how i wish i can do that in design industry or best if can be in advertising industry.

went online some days back studying the structure of an advertising firm.. hmm basically broken down into account servicing, creative and some have media department ..
working in an advertising firm.. is one of the list in my career path to be..
ignoring the sleepless nights, rich , arrogant clients, and short and fast timelines..i guess just looking at your own approval works in tv, bus stops, mrt , billboards or anywhere will just make you feel proud of yourself.. :)

currently, im in the means of getting myself to work on my portfoilo. as a multimedia grad. i guess the greatest lack of us is the knowledge in 3D.. its also an area that hasnt been explored for me.. Having myself glued to flash these days.. will try to create this 2D/3D or shld i say 2.5D flash for my online portfoilo.

i think im still searching for myself inside myself.. to become a better me..
self confidence lacking,, .self discipline uncontrolling..creative thinking losing.. attentiveness blinding. laziness overtaking ..... basic English breaking...gosh .. i better help myself.. have a mind of my own.. that's label yosh and distinctingly yosh.. killing all the bad habits one by one.. abolish the nature of Talk Only No Action...


This is for sherman:

• Be confident in urself..
• You have wad it takes to be professional photographer.. in time to come..
• Stop praising other ppl when they are not that good.. and you know that... start praising yourself instead.. then you will know urself better..
• Don't keep things to yourself.. reflect it out.. receive feedbacks..
• You know your goal.. just dun have the guts to follow it.. (just do it) go for it..

monday w/o the blues

HoHo.. its monday that ended without the blues..

work was usual boring and repetitive.. boss talk to me abt the future projects and directions of the company.. have some thoughts in mind too..

after work.. had dinner with dear and her frens yaya and eric.. fun and funny.. haha.. jokes and being joked.. lolz.. really dun mind more of these.. =)

been thinking where to go for our next trip.. a shopping trip, a relaxation trip.. or just a trip..
wanted u to have wad u always wanted..

New Week

there goes the weekend and come the new week..

caught "The Proposal" over the weekend.. great show.. and yes i agree.. how come does it take so long to watch a good show.. should do it more often .. :)

feeling athletics these few days.. went to the gym alone.. having a different feeling.. a good one..
maybe its better to workout on your own.. results might be better too..
looking for skin specialist too.. wow.. kinda like a making over session in progress.. wahaha..
well.. results might be shown at the end of the month..

been looking at travel website... coming across the destinations that i have been dying for.. hmm.. should set up a fund called the "travel to die for fund" for myself.. hehe.. Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, USA, London Paris, Vienna (before it sinks though). haha..

a New Week with old stuff

couple of things to settle by this week.. work work work..

a few things up on my mind.. and decided to set out to make it work.. things gotta be done.. it gotta be done.. =)

still pondering over the concept of my portfolio.. hmmm.. identity is the key..
gonna start working on it though.. printouts, pdf and websites..

so lack of body maintaince these few weeks.. 4/hr per day.. seeing stars... haha..

so looking for to the convention next week.. gonna grab as much knowledge i can get that 2 days..

• Improve on my pieces and join competitions..
• Hope to start a new life ( Full Time student)
