After the shoot.. three of us end up with tons of bites all over our legs.. and my god.. the number of bites are uncountable..

the peace before the war

Came back from a unwatched movie.. thinking that im tired ... yet.. im here updating my blog. -_-||| ...

this weekend will be the resting before i embarked on my 'cheongster' work for certain project at work.. this project will be a good one if i can pull it off in3 weeks time..

things aside.. recently.. somethings haven been smooth in my music side..
it all started when wkv is no more.. from then one.. there wasnt left much to jam for me..
was left with Qt5 .. no worries.. Qt5 was fun .. jamming top hits chinese songs.. only downturn is the drum is rather simple.. not much challenge .. Im always trying to seek for something challenging in music.. so that i can go on to the next level..
been looking ard if any bands are lack of a drummer.. and there's RAYVE.. i started off as a session.. where i stand in for their drummer(MIA) ... den slowly became one of their member..
we are all blood thrusting musician where dying to play in gigs and perform. so we join PBO (Project Breakout) and EOY (End-of-Year) gig. Unfortunately, we didnt make it for PBO.. i was totally sadden.. maybe got used to thinking that sure have the chance to play for gigs.. but that just total put me off.. and i was telling myself.. something have to be done..

upon finding out the reason that we got rejected.. mainly its because.. the wrong choice of song.. i was awakened.. and frens have been urging me to talk this thing out.. for the better of the band..
YES.. i made it.. share my thoughts with the band.. they agreed and we alter our song choice for the audition for EOY.. and true enough ..we got in..but not sure.. we got in cause of that reason.. haha.. we are actually quite amazed that we got in.. as there are all pretty good band auditioning with us..
thinking that we got in and so happy abt.. came along a irritating truth.. that is.. for EOY ..we are required to play only one song(that also applies to all the band tat got in).. and the song is not even the song that we change.. -_- that is so lame ...

Along with all this event... something within the band has happened.. and indirectly has cause some members to stop playing.. so when EOY ends.... its also the end of RAYVE for the current members.. well.. we all has accept the fact .. and start to thing what are we gonna do after EOY.. which is in the year 2010.. well hope that year will be good one for RAYVE and smooth one.. gambatte.. ~

It's been a while since i have an entry here..

been busy with work.. and mentally tired.. ( those kinda feeling where when u have the free time u will just slack at home and do nothing) but there is no time for there..

Clients changing their mind like nobody business. some one impart me the skills of controlling clients.. how i wish i can control minds like professor X..

Rayve is going for another try for EOY gig.. this sat. hope wad we have done will pay off. GAMBATTE NE DESU~

bottomline.. cool place to chill, nice decor , nice dance floor.. music... so-so.. too much hip hop.. lose the vibe of RnB.. =) .
they have private rooms.. would be cool to have a own party going in there.. not caring what's happening outside.

packed with exhausted and resting vampires and superheros.. probably all craving for Fries and guess what.. they run out of them... serving hashbrowns to replace them.. wow..

unhappy about my timing.. took a whole 1hr 18mins..
come to realise.. how slow i was.. and how unfit was i.. so disappointed in myself..

Gonna force myself to do at least 3 times a week swim or run.. anyone care to join..? =) (looking at minw) hehe...

Next week will be the auditions for PBO (Project BreakOut!!) its a annual Japanese Rock Fest where Jrock/Janime/ Jwadever lover gather to perform and linger around ..
this year there focus more on showmanship and there's a competition too .. sound exciting..!! haha.. gonna see alot of headbangs and bodysurf?? haha..or maybe not.. lolz..

as usual last min work.. which i hate.. yet cant do anything abt it.. time is always not on my side.. I have chose up to 7 pieces of works.. left 3 more. to make 10.

3 items to deliver : Printed portfolio, PDF ver. and a website..

have so many ideas for website.. but time is always the factor... guess i'll have to work it out slowly.. deliver a template first..

Desigrammer is a term i saw in kenny site .... hmm prolly a good path for me to go.. since im one foot in programming and one foot in design... whaha

do i know i what i really want?

in life, in study, in work?

recently .. work doesnt interest me that much anymore.. doing these stuff that keep going over and over again... keep repeating itself.. bored...

but come to think of it.. did learnt alot from this job..

• able to talk with clients
  
• know what they want.. (although 99.9% they keep changing their minds)
  
• able to work within super tight timelines.
  
• able to endure sleepless nights.

the truth is.. im quite enjoying with doing account servicing of some sort.. get a sense of satisfactory even from just a simple "thank you" from the client .. at least u know that they are happy with the work.. and appreciate the work that u do..

how i wish i can do that in design industry or best if can be in advertising industry.

went online some days back studying the structure of an advertising firm.. hmm basically broken down into account servicing, creative and some have media department ..
working in an advertising firm.. is one of the list in my career path to be..
ignoring the sleepless nights, rich , arrogant clients, and short and fast timelines..i guess just looking at your own approval works in tv, bus stops, mrt , billboards or anywhere will just make you feel proud of yourself.. :)

currently, im in the means of getting myself to work on my portfoilo. as a multimedia grad. i guess the greatest lack of us is the knowledge in 3D.. its also an area that hasnt been explored for me.. Having myself glued to flash these days.. will try to create this 2D/3D or shld i say 2.5D flash for my online portfoilo.

i think im still searching for myself inside myself.. to become a better me..
self confidence lacking,, .self discipline uncontrolling..creative thinking losing.. attentiveness blinding. laziness overtaking ..... basic English breaking...gosh .. i better help myself.. have a mind of my own.. that's label yosh and distinctingly yosh.. killing all the bad habits one by one.. abolish the nature of Talk Only No Action...

caught "The Proposal" over the weekend.. great show.. and yes i agree.. how come does it take so long to watch a good show.. should do it more often .. :)

been looking at travel website... coming across the destinations that i have been dying for.. hmm.. should set up a fund called the "travel to die for fund" for myself.. hehe.. Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, USA, London Paris, Vienna (before it sinks though). haha..

really gets into me when im slowly realized what i have to do and what i need to do.. but yet.. i m far from it.. and end of the day wads restricting it is myself...

here i m saying that i wanna looking alternatives paths or road to walk but.. there i m expressing that as though im here to stay. Am I too good to people that i forget abt myself? or i just dun want to be frame as a bad person. If being nice to yourself is a bad person, then there will be alot of bad person around.. but i dun think they are bad.. in fact i find that what they are doing are absolutely right. everyone for him/herself.

After hearing the short story of minw's work situation, its just tell me that everyone is for him/herself. and they are not in wrong.. but some situation.. it just need you to become a little more considerate and a little more attentive to the people around .. so that people dun hate u so much.. i dunno what thousand year grudge does she has.. but i really hope she can wake up her own world of her own and start paying attention that its not just her and her swineful frens..

okay sorry for drifting... so maybe from now on i should pay attention to myself..more.. and think of things or ways to make my life happier and more smoother..
